Wastewater treatment solution provider KEE Process has specified six Flender gearboxes from Siemens Automation & Drives. It’s part of a £3.3 million investment scheme to upgrade treatment processes for a project in Crynant, Wales. The village of Crynant is being supplied with six KEE Process rotating biological contactors (RBCs), which are modular treatment plants which incorporate Flender FZG gear units (size H3DH11), combined with Motox units (size KAF108K4-1LA9) and highefficiency Siemens eff1 motors (size 113-4KA).
