Earlier this year FLIR introduced a thermal imaging clamp meter: the FLIR CM174 with Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM). It visually guides users to temperature differences and pinpoints anomalies, so they can put the fault into context and effect a lasting repair. And now, for a limited period, this instrument is part of special product package for electricians that provides a saving of £82 on the overall price.
Until 31 December 2016, this discount applies to any order for a FLIR CM174 imaging clamp meter with a TA74 or TA72 universal flex current probe, and a TA15 pouch.
Builders benefit too with two special product packages. The first comprises a FLIR MR160 imaging moisture meter, another first of its kind as it is also equipped with a built-in thermal imaging camera. This highly durable meter has an integrated pinless sensor and an external pin probe, giving the user the utmost application flexibility. Also included in the deal is a FLIR MR08 hammer and wall cavity probe; total cost saving to the customer is £45.
For those seeking even more functionality from an imaging moisture meter, the FLIR MR176 is part of the second discount package for builders. This premium meter provides pin and pinless moisture measurements, four thermal imaging colour palette options, customisable moisture and environmental readings on the thermal image and a built-in thermo-hygrometer. An onboard laser pointer and display crosshairs make it easy to hone in on a potential problem.
This package also comes complete with an MR08 hammer and wall cavity probe, and an MR01 field-replaceable temperature/relative humidity sensor, offering the customer a cost saving of £205. As standard, all camera-based products are covered by FLIR’s warranty of two years on the product itself and 10 years on the detector.
