Pixel numbers are important in thermal imaging. The more there are, the clearer the thermal picture and the easier the diagnosis.
The complete picture
The FLIR Ex-Series point-and-shoot thermal imaging cameras are affordable replacements for a spot pyrometer that provide a complete radiometric picture of the thermal problem. All models provide thermal and visual imaging and complement both with FLIR’s MSX® image enhancement capability.
Interchangeable lenses
FLIR also makes more sophisticated cameras. The Exx-Series range introduces interchangeable lenses that enable the camera to be used for an even wider variety of tasks. Manual focus also allows the user to dial in the sharpest clarity and finest accuracy.
Multiple applications
The FLIR T-Series professional thermal imaging cameras are premium models for use in a multitude of industrial and building diagnostic applications. The T-Series are high definition hand held instruments that have exceptional measurement performance, image clarity and a highly responsive user interface. All feature FLIR’s unique swivelling head, which makes them very easy to use in all environments. Top of the range is the FLIR T1K with a 1024 x 768-pixel uncooled detector that offers twice the sensitivity of industry standard uncooled sensors. This performance is complemented by other resolution-enhancing features and FLIR’s OSX™ HDIR optics.
Thermal imaging clamp meter
Earlier this year FLIR introduced the world’s first thermal imaging clamp meter – the FLIR CM174 with Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM™). It visually guides users to temperature differences and pinpoints anomalies, so they can put the fault into context and effect a lasting repair.
Moisture meter
The FLIR MR160 imaging moisture meter, is another first of its kind as it is also equipped with a built-in thermal imaging camera. This highly durable meter has an integrated pinless sensor and an external pin probe, giving the user the utmost application flexibility.
For those seeking even more functionality from an imaging moisture meter, the FLIR MR176 premium meter provides pin and pinless moisture measurements, four thermal imaging colour palette options, customisable moisture and environmental readings on the thermal image and a built-in thermo-hygrometer. An on-board laser pointer and display crosshairs make it easy to hone in on a potential problem.
