The Spray Nozzle People (SNP) is delighted to announce it has added further strength and depth to its team of technical sales engineers with the appointment of Shoja Shokofan as Senior Business Development Specialist and Abdul Elgamil as Technical Sales Engineer.
SNP’s aim is to reduce hassle for its customers when sourcing spray nozzles and systems. The company recognises that components such as spray nozzles will most likely form only a small part of a client’s project or process but sourcing the right solution can be time consuming and mistakes can prove costly.
SNP’s expert sales engineers are skilled in working with customers to get them the best solutions, delivering in-depth technical and application support backed by market-leading products. Typical areas the company advises on include achieving the optimum drop size for an application, spray coverage flow rates, how different fluids affect spray characteristics and how gas flows will affect spray patterns.
Shoja brings a wealth of experience gained through product and business development roles including at the National Research Council and Edwards Vacuum. He holds Master’s degrees in engineering from the University of Sussex as well as from the University of Aberdeen where he was also an assistant lecturer.
Abdul holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the Sheffield Hallam University and, since graduating, has honed his technical sales ability while undertaking further study for a Master’s in electric car design.
“I really enjoying solving real-world problems, the more technical the better,’ says Shoja. ‘SNP’s customers span such a diverse range of industries and applications that every day is interesting and challenging.’
Says Abdul: ‘My role at SNP is not just about sales but about really getting to grips with customers’ needs and demonstrating we understand the often deep technical challenges their applications may involve.”
Adds Ivan Zytynski, director of SNP’s parent company The Spray People Group:
‘We are delighted to welcome both Abdul and Shoja on board. Their strong engineering backgrounds enable them to add value to existing and prospective customer by really partnering with them; not only are they able to quickly understand the application a customer may present but, by being curious and creative in their thinking and questioning, they are also able to see beyond the most obvious options to deliver the best solutions.”
