Keystone Lintels Ltd are the UK’s leading manufacturer of steel lintels for the construction industry, with production facilities in Cookstown and Swadlincote.
For years, this fast-growing company had used a locked, unattended storeroom for its PPE and consumable supplies. This solution worked well when Keystone was smaller, but the company had outgrown its system, making it difficult to maintain their high level of productivity.
According to Production Manager Paul Carolan, productivity was compromised. “Getting basic PPE and consumables to the people who needed them was a hugely inefficient process. We wanted to find a better way.”
