IRISS EMEA is adding thermography training to its growing range of industrial services, an interesting development from the customer’s point of view as the company brings a unique perspective on the subject.
IRISS is best known as a manufacturer of its Electrical Maintenance Safety Devices which include its unique, polymer thermal imaging windows. In the UK, it also provides a comprehensive infrared inspection programme for companies wishing to include professional thermography in their predictive maintenance routines.
As a result, IRISS not only has expertise in the science of infrared as a result of its product development work, it also has wide experience of the technology’s practical application. This combination allows IRISS to add considerable to value to the training process.
From 2016, IRISS EMEA will be offering a one day introductory course to thermography that provides attendees with a basic grounding in the theory behind infrared as well as practical guidance on camera use. Certified Level 1 and Level 2 courses will also be available for those who wish to ensure they get the best return on infrared technology and their camera investment.
