We supply the CalSensors range of Lead Sulfide (PbS) and Lead Selenide (PbSe) detectors and CalSource IR emitters from Opto Diode Corporation.
Lead Sulfide detectors are sensitive from 1µm to 3.1µm whilst Lead Selenide covers the range 1µm to 5µm.
A range of active area Single Channel Detectors (SCD) are offered in both materials - the SCD-13 range (PbS) and SCD-15 (PbSe).
Opto Diode also offer compact Integrated Detector Assembly (IDA) devices which combine 1x1mm or 2x2mm active area PbS or PbSe detectors with a TEC-cooler and Thermistor and either a unity gain DC buffer or 10dB gain AC-coupled preamplifier in a compact TO-8 hermetic package.
For applications requiring only a few detector elements it is possible these can all be mounted into the same package and connected to seperate leads. ODC's Multi Colour Detector (MCD) product range includes standard 4-colour coplanar (side-by-side) configurations with PbS (MCD-13 series), PbSe (MCD-15 series) or a combination of detectors each with an integrated spectral filter mounted in holders designed to minimise optical crosstalk between detector channels.
ODC also supply coaxial two-colour detectors featuring a silicon detector mounted in front of the PbS or PbSe detector - these devices are ideal for sysyems operating in both the visible and IR ranges. The silicon diodes are coated to provide maximum IR energy throughput and the devices can also be supplied with integrated TEC-cooling and thermistor.
Higher pixel-count Linear MCD Arrays (LMA) are available with up to 64 discrete PbS (LMA-13 series) or PbSe (LMA-15 series) pixels in quadrant, linear and staggered-linear confugrations can also be supplied.
Finally ODC offer cooled 256-pixel multiplexed linear arrays in PbS (LMA-13R) and PbSe (LMA-15R) featuring 40x40µm or 40x450µm active area pixels on a 50µm pitch. These multiplexed arrays can also be supplied as development systems providng everthing required to quiuckly set up an operate the arrays with a Windows/USB interface.
ODC's CalSource thermal infrared sources are offered in Steady State (SA-series) and High Output Low Cost Steady State (SHA-series) based on a coiled filament design. ODC also supply ultra-thin metallic foil Pulsable emitters (SVF-series) and the PireLC Low Cost Pulsable (SF-series). To ease integration of their IR sources Opto Diode also offer the PirePlus high output IR emitter with integrated drive electronics.
