The powerful eDrive solution from HBM continually saves, at high resolution, all the raw data relevant to increasing efficiency as well as electrical currents, voltage, torque, rotational speed and even engine temperature. Furthermore, all important power values are displayed in real time as with a power meter. Using powerful computer functions and a formula database, analysis can be performed directly in the measurement system while measurements are still running. This means that analysis such as the determination of equivalent circuit diagrams or direct-quadrature-zero (dq0) transformation is just a few of the practically unlimited possibilities.

Designed for those who would like a brief introduction to precision transducers and precision bridge amplifiers, individuals can also get up speed with DMP41, which is the world’s most accurate amplifier for strain gauge measurements and QuantumX MX238B, which is a 2-channel module with an accuracy class of 25 ppm.
And finally, to understand more about high precision torque sensors for your application, “High Precision Torque Sensor for all Tasks”, which takes place on Friday 20th April 2018, Michael Guckes, Product M Manager Industrial Process Control and Industrial Amplifiers at HBM explains the benefits of using a high precision torque sensor for different testing tasks and shows how to interpret the measured values. This 20 minute webinar will guide individuals through the principle and advantages of high precision torque sensors and will look at the reduction of numbers of torque sensors for testing and discuss the easy handling and interpretation of measuring values.
