Grow your knowledge and expand your skills with the latest series of free webinars from HBM – a market leader in the field of test and measurement – which take place in June 2018.
Providing advice and focus on a variety of topics, the first of the webinars, “Mobile Durability and CAN FD”, takes place on Tuesday 12th June 2018. As complex engine control units in vehicles require more bandwidth, this problem is being addressed with the introduction of CAN FD (Flexible Data Rate CAN), which offers a higher transmission rate and more user data per message. As a result, data acquisition systems must be able to detect signals from this new bus, as well as record data of the vehicles in addition to the analogue signals, during mobile load data acquisition. On the basis of mobile data acquisition on a test site, this webinar will discuss what CAN FD means for mobile data acquisition.
On Wednesday 13th June 2018, participants can find out more about the possible uses of an Industrial Ethernet Gateway in “Real Time Automation and Data Analysis in Test Stands”.
This is followed by “Bending Beam Load Cells used in Harsh Environments” which takes place on Thursday 14th June 2018. As high demands are placed on bending beam load cells that are used in harsh environments, this webinar provides a detailed account of the challenges associated with this and discusses a variety of solutions that could facilitate more efficient production processes as a result of less time being spent on cleaning and reduced downtime.
Finally, “EVIDAS – with 3 Clicks from the Measured Value to the Cloud” on Friday 15th June 2018 follows the road of the sensor to the cloud and discusses how the traditional sensor amplifier software measuring chain is being revolutionised by HBM’s very latest data acquisition software, EVIDAS. In this webinar, participants can learn how to acquire measurement values quickly and efficiently and also how to efficiently share data worldwide through the cloud.
Designed to fit in with challenging time constraints which can often make attending relevant training courses difficult, each webinar takes a maximum of 30 minutes and can be easily accessed at a later date or simply used as a refresher course. As an added benefit, all registered participants will receive a link to the webinar, via email, after the presentation. All HBM webinars are free of charge. However, spaces are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Please reserve your space by booking at https://www.hbm.com/en/3157/webinars.
