Bosch Rexroth has developed a range of smart new components to enhance the convenience and efficiency of its proven EHR electrohydraulic hitch control.
The new configurator The Automatic Hitch Control (AHC) dynamically regulates the relationship between position and tractive force, independent of the implement. This enables optimum soil tilling performance, increasing yields and hence saving fuel.
With these new developments, Bosch Rexroth is supporting the most important aims of today’s agricultural technology – sustainably securing yield capability, increasing efficiency, and conserving resources.
The operator simply needs to select the optimum tilling depth. The dynamic of the AHC is based on adaptive control algorithms and sensors that continually measure the hitch height and tractive force on the lower linkage.
In order to achieve a perfect plowing pattern under specific conditions, the AHC automatically controls the correct relationship between position and force by querying the sensor signals from the hitch. The tractor driver can also choose whether to drive in automatic mode.
This system can be activated and returned to manual mode at the press of a button or via CANbus. The Hitch Lowering Support (HLS) as an assist to the EHR also makes life simple for the operator. It enables pressure-assisted and thus rapid lowering of the hitch when the hydraulic fluid is cold, with or without implements. The defined pressure also makes unhitching easier, particularly for jammed catch hooks.
