Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking the MEAS MS8607-02BA01 pressure, humidity, and temperature (PHT) combination sensor from TE Connectivity (TE). This fully factory-calibrated combination sensor measures pressure from 10 to 2,000 millibar (mbar), relative humidity (RH) from 0 percent to 100 percent, and temperature from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius (-40 to +185 degrees Fahrenheit). The compact 5 × 3 × 1mm QFN sensor is optimal for ultra-low-power, highly accurate applications.
TE's MEAS MS8607-02BA01 sensor, now available from Mouser Electronics, includes two MEMS sensors: a piezo-resistive sensor to measure pressure and temperature, and a capacitive-type humidity sensor. Each sensor is interfaced to a delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) integrated circuit for digital conversion. The MS8607-02BA01 sensor converts both analog output voltages to a 24-bit digital value for the pressure and temperature measurements, and a 12-bit digital value for the relative humidity measurement. The eight-pin MS8607-02BA01 sensor uses I2C communication across two distinct addresses and operates at a 1.8–3.6V supply voltage. High pressure resolution combined with high PHT linearity make the MS8607-02BA01 sensor ideal for consumer electronics and industrial applications, including environmental monitoring, smartphones and tablets, home appliances, and weather stations.
