Romanian expansion for AMEC

International project management and services company AMEC has expanded its operations in Romania by acquiring Bucharest-based AGRARO Consult.
AGRARO provides environmental assessment, investigation, planning, engineering and monitoring services to public and private sector clients. In particular, it has extensive experience in the mining, oil and gas industries.
Stefania Chiriac, managing director of AGRARO, will continue as AMEC’s managing director of Romanian operations.
AGRARO will join AMEC’s Earth and Environmental business in Europe, which operates from offices including Frankfurt, Munich, Rotterdam, Milan and Seville.
