Portsmouth, July 2007…Targeting a variety of assembly applications, a broad range of brass hexagonal spacers are available from hi-rel interconnect maker, Harwin, made from free-machined brass with Nickel plating. Able to perform under severe conditions such as high mechanical load, the spacers, also known as pillars or stand-offs, are available in custom variants and are RoHS compliant. Further, the ability to use brass ensures a cost-effective end product with respect to other materials.
Harwin has retained all connector production capabilities in-house, including turning, since it began in the 1950s. This provides the company with a high degree of manufacturing flexibility, enabling the manufacture of high-volume quantities of spacers, and making it possible to deliver custom specified variants quickly, and cost-effectively.
The spacers are available in male/male, male/female and female/female orientations with body lengths ranging from 2.5 mm to 10.0 mm. Standard thread sizes include M2 through to M6 and 4-40 UNC.
