Bombardier Aerospace
announced recently that
Deutsche Lufthansahas signed a firm order for 15 CRJ900 regional jets.
The value of the firm orders, based on the list price of the CRJ900 aircraft, is approximately $584m.
Lufthansa says the new CRJ900 aircraft will become part of the regional fleet deployed on its European routes and for feeder flights.
The order increases to 109 the number of firm orders placed by Lufthansa and its regional partners for Bombardier CRJ aircraft. These orders include 62 50-seat CRJ100 and CRJ200, 20 70-seat CRJ700 and 27 90-seat CRJ900 aircraft.
