(ABI) has been awarded two engineering design contracts for TOTAL E&P Indonesie's Tunu Phase 11 gas and condensate field in the Mahakam river delta.
Both contracts, totalling $3.3m, were awarded by main contractor PT Meindo Elang Indah (MEINDO), and involve the design of offsites piping telecommunications cable and tie-in work for the north and south parts of the field.
As design contractor, ABI will be responsible for the overall performance of detailed engineering work, including pre-engineering, survey, detailed engineering and final documentation. The engineering phase for both projects will be completed in June 2008.
‘The awards follow contracts awarded to us in January by Punj Lloyd Indonesia for detailed design services for the Tunu Phase 11 South Utility Platform, which forms part of the same development,’ said Ben Dowson, ABI's general manager.
