AMEC expands

AMEC today announced that it has acquired PK SAS, a French electrical engineering company with net assets of €765,000.

, the international project management and services company, today announced the acquisition of PK SAS, a French electrical engineering company with net assets of €765,000 (£515,000).

PK SAS is based near Metz, eastern France and has 35 employees.

The acquisition, which gives AMEC increased scale in the Lorraine regional market, is in line with AMEC’s strategy of expanding its Engineering and Technical Services network of over 300 locations in Continental Europe.

It follows the addition of IT management company FAST Maintenance Informatique SA and 49% of nuclear engineering business Game Nucléaire SAS earlier in 2005.
