Aker Kvaerner
has won two drilling equipment contracts from
Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering(DSME) said to be worth a combined $213m (£103m).
The orders, for delivery in
‘These significant awards with DSME reconfirms Aker Kvaerner MH’s leading position as a successful supplier of complete drilling equipment packages and our ability to execute these packages on schedule.’ said Mads Anderson, executive vice president of Aker Kvaerner.
The semi rig is to be delivered in the third quarter 2010 and the drillship is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2010.
