Specifically, the companies will build the West Kowloon terminus approach tunnel and track fan tunnel section of the Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong Express Rail Link, which forms part of China’s strategic national express rail network.
Scheduled to be completed in 2015, the contract also calls for the companies to construct a public transport interchange and an extensive footbridge network.
Gammon is currently involved in the West Island Line which, when complete in 2014, will extend the existing Island Line from Sheung Wan to Kennedy Town.
