Register now for our February 26th webinar, hosted by multiphysics simulation software provider COMSOL, exploring how to account for uncertainty in your technological R&Dmodels & simulations.
Watch live or catch up on-demand
When modelling designs or processes where there is uncertainty in model inputs, such as geometric dimensions that are subject to manufacturing tolerances or variations in material properties, uncertainty quantification helps estimate and characterise the uncertainty to determine the likelihood of a specific outcome. Understanding the impact of model uncertainty helps engineers and researchers make more informed decisions and optimise designs.
During this webinar, we will discuss the statistical and probabilistic methods available in the Uncertainty Quantification Module to help you understand how input uncertainty will affect the performance of a final design. It expands the functionality of the COMSOL Multiphysics® software platform by adding methods such as screening, global sensitivity, propagation of uncertainties and reliability analysis.
