With the sophistication of thermal imaging cameras growing with each generation, it is easy to forget that the efficiency and accuracy of these devices is very much dependant on the knowledge and skill of the user. That’s why FLIR Systems’ Infrared Training Centre (ITC) is going back to basics for its next webinar.
Entitled Capturing Great Thermal Images, it will run from 10:00 to 11:00 hours on Thursday 20 July 2017.
Before anyone can analyse a hot spot, they must first be able to locate it by capturing the best possible thermal image. Thermograms that are out of focus, have poor contrast or insufficient resolution will not only compromise the user’s ability to measure temperature properly but may even cause them to miss the problem altogether.
This live webcast will address the basics of saving quality thermal data with an infrared camera and cover all the important imaging parameters that thermographers should understand.
