Pilz Automation Technology has launched a new interactive machine inspection on its Puwer website to help people understand how Puwer is applied to its work equipment and machinery.
Puwer covers virtually all work equipment from something as basic as a hand tool to a complex production line. Jamie Walton CMSE from Pilz Automation Technology said: “The primary objective of Puwer is to make the work environment safe for everyone; however the regulations can be a bit tricky to get to grips with. That’s why we have launched the interactive Puwer inspection machine on our website to not only help people understand how Puwer is applied to your machinery and work equipment, but also why Puwer is an important step on the path to a safe working environment.”
Pilz can inspect your machinery against Puwer and provide a comprehensive report for each item of work equipment. For any non conformance highlighted Pilz will conduct a risk evaluation as specified in the standard EN ISO 12100:2010. Pilz Puwer inspectors can come and present the findings and discuss any questions you may have.
