When you are working in those places that are not connected to the electrical grid and you need the use of electrical equipment but you do have hydraulic power from other equipment being used, tractor unit, cherry picker, etc. this simple but effective rig may be the answer.
This simple but effective hydraulically powered generator system will provide you with the electrical power needed for the job in hand. jbj Techniques Ltd have developed a single phase hydraulic powered generator with a generating potential of 3.5 kVA @ 50Hz and 4.2kVA @ 60Hz.
Primarily aimed at the access platform market it is also suitable for use where there is a requirement for a mains supply to power hand tools, emergency lighting etc.
Unlike other hydraulic powered generators available on the market today, the jbj Techniques unit boasts a purpose designed hydraulic motor, having incorporated within it, a 12 V d.c. on/off solenoid valve, pressure relief valve, pressure compensated flow control and integral shuttle valve for load sensing purposes. The use of this integral system negates the need for a bolt on manifold block control system that is favoured by other manufacturers. The removal of the manifold and the associated pipework, gives the user/operator a smaller more compact unit offering a weight saving and a reduction in the number of potential hydraulic oil leak points.
» Electrical power in isolated places.
» Compact, lighter weight design.
» Easy hydraulic installation.
» Reduced leakage points.
