Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, presented awards to three of its key European customers at electronica 2018. In a ceremony held at the company’s stand, Mouser named Vosch Electronic AG as the winner of its Long Term Partnership Award 2018, congratulated SVI Austria GmbH for achieving the Largest Growth, and announced Kitron as the winner for the Strategic Partnership Award 2018.
“We are proud to present these awards to our exceptional European customers,” said Graham Munson, Mouser’s Director of Customer Services, EMEA. “Our business in EMEA continues to experience significant growth — as it has over a number of years — and we gladly recognize key customers who have helped that growth. We congratulate all three companies and thank them and all our other customers for their business and partnerships.”
Vosch is a long-term partner of Mouser, and the two companies have developed a superb working relationship and achieved many shared objectives.
SVI has used Mouser’s huge available inventory to reduce costs and eliminate large minimum order quantities (MOQs), resulting in a significant increase in business.
Kitron and Mouser have worked closely to achieve common objectives, giving both companies opportunities to grow and increase efficiency.
Accepting the award for Vosch were Uwe Frech, Managing Director; Benedetto Zizzi, Head of Purchasing; and Zorica Stevanovic, Purchasing. Said Frech: “We are very grateful to receive this award and are honoured to be one of the three winning companies. We greatly appreciate the close partnership that we have developed with Mouser’s team, which is always highly committed, willing to discuss improvements with open and constructive communication and able to propose alternatives where necessary.”
Frech added: “It is fair to say that Mouser’s service to our company is excellent. The team possesses a very high level of competence and expertise, which enables us to fulfil the requirements of our customers in the EMS and OEM sectors.”
Receiving the award on behalf of SVI were DI (FH) Gerold Grill, Managing Director; Markus Krammer, Head of Purchasing; and Sandra Malli Strategic Purchasing. Commented Grill: “In the current market situation, it is vital for SVI to have a reliable partner who can support us with smaller quantities and competitive pricing — characteristics that ensure future successful and competitive ramp-ups. We thank Mouser for the excellent cooperation and support, as well as the award, and are confident that our business relationship will continue to grow in the coming years.”
Israel Losada Salvador, COO and Sales Director Kitron ASA, commented, “This award is testimony to the existing partnership between our companies. The support received from Mouser during this challenging allocation period has been fundamental to the success of Kitron, and we are very grateful for it.”
