New in the norelem product range are latches with hidden fastening holes, which convince with their functionality and attractive design. The latches, which join the extensive range of over 70,000 standard components available to order from the German standard components manufacturer, are suitable, for example, for securely fastening and closing machine enclosures, covers, transport containers and boxes.
Marcus Schneck, CEO of norelem, notes that the new range of latches fulfils great safety needs for engineers and manufacturers: “Our new range of latches with hidden fastening holes ensure that the tension locks are safe from manipulation and vandalism, which is vital for a safe and compliant work environment. The greater the safety and ease of use, the more efficient and secure operations become.”
The concealed screw holes ensure that all functional parts are protected under the high-strength die-cast housing. In this way, the latch blends aesthetically into the overall appearance with no disturbing contours protruding outwards.
The latches with hidden fastening holes are available as bright chrome-plated, matt chrome-plated and black powder-coated models. In addition, users can choose between versions with or without a cylinder lock. Two keys are supplied for latches with a cylinder lock. The locking system is a keyed alike locking system.
And this is not all, the latch and the counter hook can be riveted or screwed on. The robust construction as well as an over-centre position guarantee a vibration-proof fastening, with a maximum load capacity is 1,200 N.
Norelem’s latches with hidden fastening holes are suitable for frequent opening and closing in indoor and outdoor use, making them the ideal component for even the busiest of operations.
