Seeing corona necessitates seeing ultraviolet radiation yet ultraviolet light is invisible to the human eye. To the human eye, a garden in bloom is a riot of colour. We enjoy the sight of flowers in a rainbow of colours but we miss the most important information perceived only by insects – patterns. Bees and other insects see flowers differently because their eyes are receptive to ultraviolet and can see patterns that guide them to sources of pollens and nectar, which are hidden to humans without special equipment.

I saw this kind of system working in Holland well over a decade ago. It seemed to work well. Best of luck for the project.
