HBM has announced the launch of the FIT5A digital load cell, specifically designed to meet the needs of demanding applications where speed and accuracy are key.
Suitable for use in a wide range of production environments with harsh ambient conditions, which require dynamic weighing, filling and metering – for example in the food production and process industries – the robust FIT5A load cell offers manufacturers high precision and processing speed.
Based on the very latest HBM strain gauge technology, the innovative new load cell features integrated overload protection and the suitability for legal-for-trade applications per OIML R60 up to 3,000 divisions, which in turn ensures accuracy, reliability and overall safety in any heavy-duty production facility.
Housed in a welded casing and hermetically encapsulated, the robust FIT5A load cell is available with an IP rating of up to IP69K, making it suitable to a wide range of demanding process applications with sensors based on strain gauge technology.
In addition to the standard model, the FIT5A is also available in various extended versions. Through the use of professional HBM software PanelX, which combines support for the configuration process with an intuitive user interface, a wide range of parameters for adjustments and batching processes can be conveniently set.
