Essentra makes significant advances in climate commitment scores
Essentra Components, a leading manufacturer of essential industrial components, has received commendable results in its latest Climate Disclosure Project (CDP) assessments.
The company achieved an A- rating for its climate commitments, a B for water stewardship, and a B- for forest-related disclosures.
Essentra demonstrated strong performance across the CDP’s climate categories, earning A- or higher in 13 out of 16 criteria, including emissions reduction, risk disclosure, and target setting.
Similarly, the company scored B- or higher in over half of the forest-related metrics and in nine of the 11 sub-categories for water, covering areas such as governance, risk, and opportunity disclosure.
These ratings reinforce Essentra’s ambition to be the world’s leading responsible supplier of essential components and underscore how strong environmental governance can align with market success, as reflected in the broader trend of CDP A List companies outperforming their peers.
