Litesizer™ instruments measure the size of particles using Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS). Measurements can be performed in a wide range of cuvettes that fit most experimental needs, depending e.g. on sample corrosiveness or sample volume availability. Size measurements can also be performed in cuvettes designed for zeta potential measurements, such as the Anton Paar Omega cuvette and Univette.
Here we show that the accuracy and repeatability of DLS measurements on different samples (latex microspheres, pigment particles and proteins) did not differ significantly as a function of the cuvette, indicating that all cuvettes provide consistent, accurate and repeatable DLS results.
