Nowadays, most devices involve a few simulation steps from pre-design to final validation. Engineers have to try many configurations, define working conditions and make sure the device will run trouble-free and optimally. In this context, Flux can help designers to perform their studies at every step of this industrial process. This article presents an example of an actuator as an illustration of how to pre-design a device, how to optimise it with multiple objectives and how to run the final validation before releasing the final product. All of these steps are possible using the 3D modeller, the parametric study, GOT-It optimiser and all the simplification tools.
MOF captures hot CO2 from industrial exhaust streams
How much so-called "hot" exhaust could be usefully captured for other heating purposes (domestic/commercial) or for growing crops?
