CTEC just releases its new CCBu40 controller board for driving and controlling its 2 axis piezo mechanisms like XY or Tip tilt stages. Compared to the existing CCBu20 controller, the CCBu40 has an output rms current of 0.36 A per channel (10 times higher than CCBu20) for a twice larger footprint. The CCBu40 is recommended for increasing the control bandwidth and especially for driving larger capacitance based piezo 2 axis mechanism (>0.5uF/axis). CTEC also proposes 2 heat sinker options to be integrated on the base plate for power dissipation depending on the environmental and dynamic operating conditions.
