Cutting Energy Costs, Reducing Loss and Downtime, Teledyne FLIR, is all set to showcase their Electric Utility Solutions product portfolio at Middle East Energy 2023 scheduled from 7th to 9th March at World Trade Centre.
Exhibiting at Stand H4.E50, on display will be Energy saving solutions such as FLIR HD Thermal Camera with Viewfinder, Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera, Optical gas imaging camera, and Extech Test & Measurement Solutions for Utilities Industry. Visitors at FLIR Teledyne stand can experience new energy solutions and technologies and perfect their own energy strategies.
Middle East Energy provides a unique platform for energy leaders to debate and shape the future. Experts from across the region and beyond join forces to plot the best route through the energy transition.
The ground-breaking product on display is Teledyne FLIR T1020 HD Thermal Imaging Camera. For decades, electrical and mechanical industries worldwide have recognised the importance of predictive maintenance programs, with thermal imaging cameras playing a significant role in their effective delivery.
With an impressive temperature measurement range of -40˚C up to 2000˚C, up to 3.1MP resolution thermal imaging using FLIR’s UltraMax technology and a choice of 3 high-fidelity OSX precision HDIR lenses, the T1020 is a powerful tool for maintaining industrial systems.
In addition to this FLIR will also showcase the FLIR Si124 industrial acoustic imaging camera. The FLIR Si124-PD acoustic imaging camera can help you detect partial discharge from high-voltage electrical systems up to 10 times faster than traditional methods. Built with 124 microphones, this lightweight, one-handed solution produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud industrial environments.
The acoustic image is transposed in real time on top of a digital camera picture, which allows you to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound. The Si124-PD features a plugin that enables users to import acoustic images to FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service.
Through a regular maintenance routine, the FLIR Si124-PD can help facilities save money on utility bills. Available in additional models which include a cordless battery option: the Si124-LD for leak-detection applications, or the Si124 for both electric utility and leak-detection applications.
Electrical utilities use SF6 as insulator gas. This is very useful but harmful for environment. Environmental protection agencies have the responsibility to make sure that these emissions fall within governmental and international policy guidelines. To help them with that task environmental protection agencies can use the FLIR GF306 optical gas imaging camera.
This camera visualizes sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and other gas emissions without the need to shut down operations. GF306 inspections are faster than traditional leakdetection tools, and capable of detecting SF6, anhydrous ammonia (NH3), and ethylene (C2H4). Thus, improving the efficiency and reducing the revenue loss.
Commenting on FLIR’s participation at Middle East Energy, T P Singh, Senior Director of Sales – Instruments in Middle East, said, “Teledyne FLIR designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes technologies that enhance perception and awareness. Teledyne FLIR strives to strengthen public safety and well-being, increase energy, and time efficiency, and contribute to healthy and intelligent communities.
Middle East Energy is a perfect platform to showcase our solutions which are designed to maximise efficiency, safety and uptime in a multitude of industrial environments for Industries in Utilities & Oil & Gas sector,”.
