Cutting fluid evaporation rates became difficult to manage and frequent topping up was ineffective in preventing excessive concentration levels. Soap formation appeared on fluid surfaces, preventing effective removal of lost lubrication oil. The fluid instability and loose emulsion had a detrimental influence on de-foaming characteristics and overall product performance.
