High pressure coolant availability is today a standard or optional part of most CNC machines and holds a serious productivity potential.
High pressure coolant (70 bar or more) is part of a majority of new machinery being available. This, and the development within tooling that has been ongoing for some years now, has meant that the role of coolants in machining is undergoing somewhat of a re-evaluation even when it comes to many less demanding component materials.
