It’s been all hands on deck at The Engineer for the last week as we’ve set about applying the finishing touches to our new website. We hope you like what you see.
In some respects, it’s business as usual: we’ll continue to bring you the up to the minute news, analysis and in depth reporting on the most exciting stories from the world of engineering and technology. But we hope you’ll agree that there are plenty more reasons for hanging around.
Firstly we hope you’ll find the new site easier to navigate. Here on the home page, you’ll find our latest news stories, a link to our “big story” and the up to the minute comment and opinion from us, our readers, and some of the industry’s biggest hitters. Head over to our in-depth channel for longer stories, interviews, some of the gems from our archive, and plenty of exciting new additional content: including videos that will help bring to life some of the projects and developments we report on.
Keep your eyes peeled as over the coming weeks we’ll be introducing more and more new features, including the background information and specifications relating to some of the biggest projects, and even the option for you the reader to send us videos of your own technology in action,
You’ll also find that there are new opportunities for you to let us know what you think; whether you want to share your views on the latest innovation, have your say on the burning issue of the day, or give us some feedback on how you think we could improve things here. In fact, if you think it’s unimprovable, still let us know, we’re all ears.
