From generative AI to Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence has huge implications across all sectors of the economy; not least the world of engineering where it promises to accelerate the pace of innovation and drive productivity and efficiency.
But despite being one of the most talked about areas of technology, it’s also one of the most poorly understood. Indeed, as The Engineer’s own research shows whilst most organisations expect AI to be the dominant disruptive trend in the months ahead, many are unsure how to begin tapping into its potential.
Throughout this week, with the help of software giant Dassault Systèmes, we will be cutting through the hype, exploring exactly what AI means for industry and offering some practical examples of how engineering and manufacturing organisations can both tap in to the opportunities it creates and overcome some of the challenges it presents.
During the week, alongside The Engineer’s usual mix of case studies, comments, features and news we’ll also be hearing directly from Dassault Systèmes about how AI is shaping its own offerings, and what this means for its customers.
We’re also running two not-to-be-missed online events exploring the topic in more detail, beginning with our Tuesday 25th panel session which brings together a panel of experts from across industry to discuss the broad engineering implications of AI, followed by a webinar with Dassault Systèmes on Wednesday 26th taking a deep dive into the capabilities of its NETVIBES data solutions.
You can register now for free here to watch both of these events either live or on demand.
As always, we look forward to hearing from all of our readers over the coming days and would like to encourage you all to join the debate and share your thoughts on this important topic
