International disaster relief charity RedR is holding its annual fundraising day on 14 February, and supporters from across the engineering world will help raise vital funds and increase awareness of the charity's role.
Firms and institutions will wear red and organising red-themed activities to support RedR's work, providing relief workers with the skills needed to respond to global disasters.
Sixteen organisations have already signed up, with a total of 50 individual offices worldwide taking part. These include Arup, Buro Happold and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
In 2007, employees of RedR's corporate supporters raised £10,000 for Wear Red for RedR. We hopes this year's campaign will be even more successful.
RedR can supply promotional material, posters and balloons. If you want to get involved, contact fundraising development manager Tom Colborne at tom.colborne@redr.org
