Those who are cynical about the Williams/Qinetiq tie-up (
Letters, 19 September) might like to look back at the original
feature(5 September) on the subject.
This mentioned that McLaren entered a similar arrangement with BAE. The result? McLaren is once again a winning team, and while I don’t suppose BAE would claim all the credit there might just be something in this technology transfer idea.
