Toumaz secures AMx patent

Toumaz Technology recently secured a patent in
Worn like a sticking plaster, Sensium is an ultra low power sensor interface and transceiver that has healthcare and lifestyle management applications.
Used in conjunction with an appropriate external sensor, Sensium provides monitoring of ECG, temperature, blood glucose and oxygen levels via handheld devices such as mobile phones. It can also interface to three axis accelerometers, pressure sensors and includes a temperature sensor on chip.
To support its accelerating commercialisation and growth, Toumaz is gaining international patent protection for the core Sensium technology in major global markets.
