Applied Weighing, the UK’s leading manufacturer of  load cells and supplier of industrial weighing systems, was one of several sponsors helping the all-British rowing pair Becky Thorp and Steph Temperton in their successful bid to break the British Women’s Pairs Atlantic record in the 2005 Atlantic Rowing Race. Applied Weighing used precision weighing equipment to ensure that sufficient food was on board without overloading the boat.
