The Shaw Group
has been awarded $75m to install mercury control, flue gas desulphurisation (FDG), and selective catalytic reduction systems for the nominal 600MW Unit 2 at PSEG Fossil’s Hudson Generating Station.
The air emissions controls systems are scheduled for completion by the end of 2010.
Shaw is currently delivering mercury control and FGD systems projects for Units 1 and 2 at PSEG's Mercer Generating Station and a mercury control system project at Unit 3 of PSEG's Bridgeport Harbor Generating Station.
Shaw is also currently performing maintenance and modifications services at three nuclear-fuelled power generating units at PSEG's
