Sullair
has launched a completely new range of industrial air compressors, the vast majority of which are said to be the quietest and most energy efficient of their type.
In addition, Sullair says that the machines can be returned to them at the end of their useful life where they will be completely disassembled and recycled, a first for the compressed air industry.
Named the AirOne range, the compressors span from 2.2 to 160kW, suiting a wide range of industrial needs and applications from small garage workshops to heavy industries.
In
The AirOne range uses a combination of high efficiency motors, variable speed drive, Sullair’s spiral valve, and Flying Bird IV fans, meaning that power consumption can be reduced by up to 35 per cent when compared to traditional air compressors.
Sullair further claims that maintenance costs are also kept to a minimum with 8,000 running hours between major services. This is because compressors are filled with long-life lubricants to reduce the frequency of oil changes, and all filters and regulation components are highly accessible.
MOF captures hot CO2 from industrial exhaust streams
How much so-called "hot" exhaust could be usefully captured for other heating purposes (domestic/commercial) or for growing crops?
