Ondrives Ltd have introduced an exciting range of new in-house manufactured products into their most recent all-products catalogue, out in April 2009. Precision gears that have been made to DIN standard DIN3961, with quality Grade 7 accuracy as the norm are the latest products made on their state-of-the-art CNC machines, the company states.
Investment in the latest Swiss CNC gear hobbing machine, the Gleason Pfauter P90 - which is used all over the world in aerospace and medical precision gear production - has ensured Ondrives are even able to achieve Grade 5 pitch accuracy. Ranges of gears have been designed around these machines and the precision hobs used to cut them, making quality a top priority and ensuring sizes can be made to exacting standards. For example, spur gears from 0.5Mn up to 3.0Mn module, worms and wheels, helical gears and much more are all available as standard.
Historically, the company has produced gears for the last 30 years or so and this has given them a good insight into quality manufacturing procedures as well as being able to offer customers’ exactly what they want - Amanda Laughton, Marketing Manager states. Specials and modifications are also readily available with both production runs and smaller quantities being particularly welcomed on a just-in-time basis.
Standard materials available include high quality stainless steel, steel, aluminium, bronze and plastics. Most materials can easily be sourced by Ondrives to suit customer’s demands, designs and applications.
All this is backed up with SolidWorks® 3D CAD seats along with the latest KISSsoft gear software used daily by trained design engineers. Any companies that need extra help or guidance in gear design understanding are welcome to talk to our team, we are happy to give support to most projects.
