National Instruments’ PCI plug-in data acquisition device, the
NI PCI-6010, extends the company’s B Series multifunction DAQ devices to offer 16 channels of analog input with 16-bit resolution and 200 kS/s sampling rate.
The board also includes ±42 V of overvoltage protection on analog inputs, as well as two analog output channels, 10 digital lines and two counter/timers.
Engineers can take advantage of the device’s standard 37-pin D-Sub connector for I/O channel access to create custom connectivity solutions with low-cost, commonly available parts and cables.
Quantity packages are available for OEMs and other customers needing multiple units, with standard pricing 40% lower than previous lowest-priced PCI DAQ devices from NI.
The PCI-6010 ships with the full suite of NI measurement services software, including tools and drivers for connecting virtual instrumentation software with NI measurement and control hardware.
