range of inserts is the self-tapping range for  use with plastic they are designed for use in most plastics, including thermosets, providing a high and consistent pull-out strength. Installation of the inserts is simple using a drill press fitted with a non pitched tapping head of with a

self tapping screw driver. The symmetrical design of each insert simplifiers orientation during installation, whilst a lead-in pilot ensures straight installation. Spirol offers both thread forming (series 10 ) and thread cutting ( series 13) inserts for plastic.
