Micro-Robotics has developed a memory card interface for the company’s VM-1 embedded control computer that is compatible with MMC and SD cards and supports Windows FAT file formats. It can plug directly into the company’s application boards for evaluation or can be interfaced to any custom board. The circuit of the interface is also available. The interface is supported by software in the form of a filing system driver object that is provided as standard in Venom-SC and enab les applications that require large amounts of non-volatile or removable storage such as web servers or data loggers. www.microrobotics.co.uk
