Penny + Giles has launched a new in-cylinder linear displacement transducer for small bore mobile and static hydro-pneumatic actuators. The ICT050 provides reliable, fit-and-forget position sensing of the cylinder rod in actuators with strokes up to 500mm. The new transducer is aimed primarily at the off-highway and utility market. Its robust construction is ideal for the harsh conditions of lifting and steering position applications. ICT050 is an addition to the company’s existing range of in-cylinder transducers that includes the popular ICT080 and ICT100.
