as a construction partner for works associated with the £6.6bn Eastern Campus Development Programme at

.

The deal will see Balfour Beatty provide pre-construction advice and construction services for the programme, which will re-align the taxiways and provide aircraft stands in the areas to the east of Terminals One and Two over the next 10 years.

The agreement also includes alterations, refurbishment and building work to airport buildings, the Heathrow East Satellite Project and part of the underground connectivity scheme that will connect the new satellite to different terminals. The total value of the work is estimated to be around £750m.

Balfour Beatty is currently working on the first phase of the Heathrow East Satellite Project, which is scheduled for completion in late 2009 and expected to be operational in early 2010.
