Goodrich Corporation has been selected to provide an integrated engine control system for the GE Honda HF120 engine, which will power the HondaJet and Spectrum "Freedom" business jets.
The contract may generate up to $200m in original equipment and aftermarket revenue for Goodrich over approximately 20 years.
Under the terms of the contract, Goodrich is responsible for the overall engine control systems integration which includes specifying, integrating and testing all control components.

‘We are excited about working with GE Honda on their first entry into gas turbine engines for business jets. This contract also marks a first for Goodrich. It is the first major development program leveraging the global breadth of our team's engine control technologies across our North American & UK facilities," Duvall added.
