Equatorial understanding

Petrofac, a London-based international oil and gas facilities service provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Equatorial Consolidated Group (ECG) for work in Equatorial Guinea.

Under the MOU, Petrofac and ECG will integrate their skills and services to develop and modify oil and gas facilities onshore and offshore the Central African country.

Walid Tayara, ECG’s area manager for Equatorial Guinea, said: ‘Our strength lies in being a national company, strongly backed by its well-known international parent company Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC).’

The predominant focus of Petrofac’s business is on the UK Continental Shelf, Africa, the Middle East, The Commonwealth of Independent States and the Asia Pacific region.
