The Swiss process automation company Endress+Hauser is celebrating its 40th anniversary in the UK. To mark this momentous occasion in the company’s history, Endress+Hauser Ltd will inaugurate its brand new state-of-the-art offices in Manchester before treating invited guests to a special one-off Gala Concert at Manchester’s most prestigious music venue, Bridgewater Hall.
Building for the future
2008 has been a landmark year for Endress+Hauser in the UK. Due to its continued success, the need to expand had become greater than ever, with the result – a brand new state-of-the-art building. The new premises have been built on the existing site in Manchester and incorporate a sales, service and manufacturing facility. The real bonus, however, has been the improved training facilities and the inclusion of a fantastic new Visitor Centre boasting seating for more than 120 people! The new premises will be officially inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and guided tours, part of the day’s programme, on Thursday, September 11. The proceedings will be attended by Manchester’s Lord Mayor Mavis Smitheman, local Member of Parliament Paul Goggins and Endress+Hauser company founder Georg H Endress and his family.
Gala concert at the Bridgewater Hall
To make the celebrations memorable, Endress+Hauser has reserved the entire Bridgewater Hall in Manchester for a special Gala Concert performed by the Manchester Camerata orchestra and featuring two local star soloists, Natasha Marsh and Alfie Boe. The company will entertain around 1,500 guests including customers, suppliers, employees, family and friends.
Both the building inauguration and the Bridgewater Hall concert will be attended by senior management from the Endress+Hauser Group around the world. They will join the celebrations as well as attending the Group’s annual conference, Groupcon, this year hosted in Manchester.
